This country road is leading to the dunes (they can be seen in the distance) of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, the Netherlands. The path left of the country road is meant for bikers only.

Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

PS: Sandi (Tigger3) thought that she had some problems with her monitor. It turned out however that her monitor functions properly but that my 'Parkview 7' image was partly blurred. Therefore I have deleted it. My 'sorry' goes to the friends who had already commented on it.

You have curves coming and going Sea. I like the Birch or Ash trees lining the road. What you don't have in hills, you make up in curves. Good lead in lines.
Good health to you and yours.

I'm sorry Cornelius, but I am easily confused. Is the road on the left for bicyclists because the one you're standing on seems too small for cars. To me it looks like you're standing on the bike path because the trees seem awfully close to a road for automobiles. Unless you accidentally posted a mirror image in which case left is right and right is left. I downloaded your shot and mirrored it vertically, but that just made me dizzy. When I mirrored it vertically and horizontally, I feel into a coma.

Beautiful detail work on capturing the trees with no blur, and thank you for sticking with a natural sky. I see too many shots on Caedes where the sky is magically dropped in and then dominates the shot.

Roger, you're right. The path were I'm standing on is for bikers only. Left of it is a small countryroad to a parking lot 'beneath' the dunes for beach visitors. Only motorized vehicles have admittance to this small road. They have to drive there with a limited speed.

Cornelius.

I love your sense of composition, and this image is a lovely example... The curves of the road, bicycle trail and the trees make a wonderful 'anchor' for the brushy hillsides on the right... I like the greys and tans of the countryside this time of year and the pale blue of the November sky. And thanks for giving me all your glimpses of the Netherlands that I might never see otherwise... ;-)

Wonderful brightly lit scene Cornelius. The curved and tree-lined road with the bigger road next to it and the land on the right covered with brown grass make this a very lovely, well composed image.

I am confused, too. I think I will just walk there on the grass in between the road and the bike path. LOL. I like the curves in this shot, and the line of trees. The grasses are really nice too. Well done, Mr. C.
