Variety is the spice of life.

Walcheren, Zeeland, the Netherlands.

A boring scene, isn't it? I'm curious about your opinion, so thank you in advance for your comment.

Yes, Cornelius, very boring scene. I could stay there just for a few... years? LOL Fantastic shot, I adore it. I watch it and breathe, maybe I'll catch a bit of that salty air. Thanks a lot, my friend.

Anything but boring! The autumn lines of lighting add a wonderful ambiance to the shoreline. I enjoy the people as well, adding scale to your perspective.

Shooting into direct sunlight can be very difficult and the water always has a different look to it Sea. I can almost see the pixels dancing on the water.
It brings to mind the stories you hear about people seeing the light as they walk into the next life.
They sailboat looks good tucked away on the left side.
I like it even though the light is pretty bright at one point.
Good health to you and yours.

Not boring to me. I am imagining being out on the sailboat, or walking on the beach, looking for things to take pictures of. I like the glittering water, and the angle of the image. Well done, Mr. C.

First of all, Cornelius, what does OFT stand for. It's tough enough for us to remember that 0930_23 is Ron who is really TicK with a capital K. Now he's also OFT.

When I saw this shot at postage stamp size, I was sure I was going to have to really let you have it. I thought, "Certainly, there will be noise in that blue sky". None of the problems that I thought I might see are there. You handled the direct sunlight beautifully. Those killer blue skies can be tough because they tend to show even a drop of noise, but the sky is deadly silent. Usually on a shot with an ocean background, the image is left or right leaning. This one is horizontal. Great attention to detail and a wonderful shot. I'm just going to try harder to find something wrong with one of your shots. Better yet, make my job easier and post something that stinks. This is too good.

Roger,

OFT stands for 'Owd Fella TicK'. I've mentioned Ron 'Owd Fella' after we became friends in or about 2007.
