This one is dedicated to Michel (Catharina1).
I feel very sad, because my good Dutch comrade and Caedes-friend Michel has terminated all his activities on Caedes, which implies that he has deleted all his images from this site and won't comment and upload in the future anymore.
I've tried several times, without success however, that Michel would change his mind.
I accept and respect what Michel has done because I was well informed by him what has lead to this decision. It's not the proper place here to blame the ones who have treated him in reprehensible way, but I hope that this tactless behavior soon will end, else I fear that Caedes will be gone in the near future.
Michel, I like to say from this place "Thanks" for your sincere friendship and for all the beauty that you've presented us. I'll miss you, your friendship, your great photographic skills, and your 'top notch' photographs. In my honest opinon, your departure is a real loss for this site.
Wish you and yours all the best for the future, dear friend.

Dear Caedes friends, it's a dark, grey day for me in a figurative way. If you have to deal with such a day as well, I really hope that this F² image may bring you still some (artificial) sunshine.

So sorry to hear about Mich. Whish you could have convinced him to stay with us. I'll miss his great photos. Hope he'll return like other friends did in the past. Beautiful tribute to him.

I am saddened to learn that Michelob has left the site Sea. He is at the top of the list of photographers on this site. He is a fine gentleman and he will be missed.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
I feel like I have lost a good friend, too, Mr. C. He was one of the best, and a top notch photographer, as well. I am going to miss him.

You sure brightened my day even though it's now almost 8 p.m. What a lovely floral offering for Friday and a fine dedication to our lost friend. Had he been extended even a little courtesy, he might still be with us. I too shall miss him and his brilliant photography. Definitely a shameful situation.

I don't really know what happened but whatever it is I am so sorry that it was upsetting to Mich. This tribute is a lovely and kind one. I know that you have deep feelings about this Cornelius. I admire you for that.

While Michel wasn't on my list of Caedes friends, I loved his work and enjoyed his comments (at least the ones in English). I heard what happened. Over the years I've seen a number of my Caedes friends disappear and then reappear on other photo sharing sites. When they post the featured images, the shots on the right are from years gone by. I never recognize the names of those posters because they've left Caedes. He will be missed. If the mods disappeared, I don't think anyone would care or even notice. They serve a function but not very well.

I miss our friend Mich too!! It's a dark gloomy day for me as well Sir C.....my "sonshine" Logun left Monday for Lackland AFB to begin basic training. This is the first time in 19 years I won't get to spend Christmas with him. I miss him bunches:(
