When there's a breeze she whispers gently, in a storm however she roars like a lion. Never is her sound the same. Although I got used to it, the never ending song of the sea is never boring to me.

Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

She is attracting a buoy as well as a former Captain, SEA.
I can only imagine the attraction of the water to someone who loves it like you. This shot expresses it very well.
Good health to you and yours.

Nor would I find it boring either, Cornelius. It is the sheer majesty of it that awes I think. It is certainly powerful and so much symbolism is contained therein.

I sure love the colors in here, the blues and greens and that bit of red from the boat. You have caught the majesty of both sea and sky in this one.

Wonderful shot of the sea and sky Cornelius. In the airconditioned Captain's cabin up above you don't hear the gentle sounds but when I was on holiday a few years ago my wife and I stayed in a hotel by the sea - where the gentle waves crashing 30 metres away could be heard all the time - especially at night I found that so soothing.

This is brilliant. I love the different sections of colour in this image - the sand, the foaming sea, then the green sea, then the menacing sky. The line of breakers adds another dimension too. All brilliantly presented and makes a great DT too. Fav'd and thank you for sharing!

Other than kayaking within a mile of land, I've only been out on the ocean once. A co-worker had a commercial fishing boat out of Morro Bay. He took 10 of us out on a day that looked like this. While speeding out to our fishing spot, everything was fine. As soon as we stopped, all hell broke loose. A co-worker was 10 feet away from me, looked straight at me and heaved over the side. He smiled knowingly and said, "Beat ya". I never got sick but had to wedge myself into a corner to keep from falling off the boat. There were 15 foot waves that day. Way too large for a 25 foot long boat. The ocean scares me.

Your fine image brought those horrible memories rushing back from the dark recesses of my mind where they've been buried for 25 years. Nice shot and damn you.

I love it, Cornelius, this is real drama. Wonderful work. I admire those brave ones. But when I am on sea, I prefer calm weather. I am far from brave. LOL
