Dear Caedes-friends,

Referring to this post, it's my sad duty to inform you that my dear wife recently has passed away.

More than 8 years ago, she got cancer. After all kinds of treatments, we supposed that she has won the battle against this terrible disease, but the cancer came back.

Although I'm very sad now, it's, to a certain extent, a comforting thought that her suffering has come to an end.

It's my intention to return on Caedes, but I hope you will understand that I'm not capable now to say when this will happen.

Cornelius

Very sad to hear the news Cornelius. Although from your reports we knew that your wife was in a very serious condition, the end comes as a shock. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May God give you the courage and determination to face the life ahead without your beloved wife and to get back to a somewhat "normal" life. I shall look forward to your return to caedes.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Cornelius but I'm sure there is some comfort in knowing she is not suffering any longer. My husband has battled cancer this year so I understand the difficulty in watching your life's partner suffer. I look forward to your lovely windmill shots when you return meanwhile know that we are here.
