Today two macro's from the 'bin': a common macro, and even a detailed one (I realise that 'detailed macro' is to a certaint extent a 'contradiction in words' because a macro on its own is already detailed, lol).

This is the 'detailed one'. It's really another image and not a cropped version of the 'common' one. By checking-out this link you will see the 'common' version. Please realise that these images don't have partly a lack of focus. It's just the 'bokeh' phenomenon, because of the use of a AF-S Micro Nikkor 85 mm 1:3 5 G ED lens in relation to the focal lenght to the subject. If you like to read more about 'bokeh', please check-out the narrative of this image.

I hope you'll like these images. Although each image has its own charm, it's up to you to decide which one you prefer. Thanks in advance for your comment.

A very narrow depth of field really brings the detail out...R.
