You hope we'll like it? You hope so, Cornmeister? The one Caedesian who is blind in all three eyes, is past 30 and still sleeps with his teddy (bear), thinks Van Gogh is a fast family hauling vehicle, has no taste in art whatsoever, and sleeps 26 hours a day... might just be the only one who wouldn't like it. Sorry. Just wrote the first thing that came into my mind. Other than WAAAAOOOOOOHHHHHH. But I'm sure you hear that all the time, so the soliloquy came first. Jeez, Louise, where do I start? Color, composition, focus, use of diagonals, beauty, interest of subject matter, balancing detail with open areas, the position of the bird pulling us along it's line-of-sight, framing... all of the critical elements of photography, technical and aesthetic, are fully addressed by your photo and not found wanting at all. Print, mat and frame this immediately and hang it in a spot where every guest entering your house can see it before they even get their shoes off. Oh, and if I haven't mentioned it before... WAAAAOOOOOOHHHHHH! Superb. -Nik
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
My Goodness, our Knik, would make greatest comedian... LOL After all those comments I feel like quoting my master [which means that Nik should be a Brit as in majority Brits are so easy with their words :)] "WHOOAH Superb. -Nik" Ooops !, delete "-Nik" and replace by SAM & SAAB
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I'm not sure what I can say that the others have not? MR. C. It's a simple scene, but expertly captured, and presented by you of a subject that actually stood still long enough for this outstanding result. Tigs♥ =^..^=
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
John
And I too stand in awe and admiration at this perfectly composed image...color tones, clarity, composition, and reflection all spot on...great work, Cornelius.
