I don't have the skills to make abstracts/fractals like some other Caedes-friends have. But because variety is the spice of life, I've tried something different. I've chosen for 'naturally comtemporary art' (lol). It has cost me some time to find a tree with the proper bark in order to provide you with a DT-image.

In the case that you may consider to call this 'creative' and/or 'inventive' behavior (with a wink or not), I think that I have to disappoint you because tomorrow my postings will be back to 'normal'!

Hope you'll like this DT-image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

Well, creative or not Cornelius, you found a tree trunk with a lot of textures, colour tones and an unusually rough bark and took a nice and clear shot of it. It is quite interesting to see.

It looks like it could be petrified, SEA.
You are not like my old dog, he was not particular what type of bark the tree had.
Spice is also the variety of life.
Good textures and will make a good DT.

I agree, 'Variety Is The Spice Of Life' and it's always good to try something new...you've got a great capture of this very rough and texturous tree and who knows perhaps sometime I'll be asking permission to use it in one of my manips.

I thought the 'Spice of Life' was a hot Vindaloo Curry!!! ;}

The bark makes a terrific texture..and could be used in a number of background themes to make an image more interesting!...

I might ask you one day If I can use this in one of my 'Dabbles'!

This is a great textural study Mr.C. It would serve well as a background in a layered shot.

A fine capture of Natures Own Art Sir C! These works of art are so easily missed, just like a spiders web after a rain with all those diamonds from Heaven caught up in it. Nice work!

Excellent textures & detail on the tree bark, Cornelius. My husband would love this on his desktop as he is a logger by trade. He's always looking at the bark on trees. I like your presentation too. Very well done.
