I think that you never told me whether any people do live in these wonderful half submerged buildings...! Is this really like in Venice? For me even more appealing than Venice as I prefer the northern architecture. Waiting impatiently to see what is behind the corner! And the further corner and then further on and on...!

I have really liked this trip to Bruges you are providing us with your photography, Cornelius. See that guy near the back of the boat. His body is slightly turned toward us and he seems to be facing the camera, well, I want to be that guy in my bucket list. I would love to someday visit this beautiful and historic city.

What a beautiful day you had for these wonderful images Mr.C. - love the way the curving canal carries our eyes through the image.

It is beautiful architecture and most interesting to see the guide boats filled to capacity with tourists. This really is the Venice of the north! Bravo Cornelius.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
