This image was captured in a Middelburg (Zeeland, The Netherlands) street. The owner of the traditional street organ tries to collect some money from the shopping people, while the youngster's attention is kept by the the organ itself. It's a pity that on Caedes no sound can be heard, else the cosy atmosphere in that street would be more clear.

Hope you'll like my contribution for the contest. Thank you in advance for your comment.

Take a recording device with you next time eh!...☺

Colourful scene which could be anywhere, but we don't seem to 'see'!...

Good luck in the contest

Het echte straatleven in "The Netherlands", en eigenlijk hoort er ook nog een haringkraam bij, maar zo kunnen we nog wel een paar dingen bedenken.
Fraaie opname, Cornelius, en ik wens je veel succes in de contest !

A wonderful entry Mr.C. - I was greatly intrigued by the beautiful clock tower at the far point of your street scene.

The boy makes the picture, doesn't he. Wonderment and fascination.

The boy looks bewildered and sweet indeed... My idea, however, would be to apply some thinnify technique in some Photoshop or another software in respect of the gentleman who does not look too convincing for money collection purposes though:)
