Can you remember THIS ONE? On this image you can see at a distance the 'Oranjemolen' (Orange Mill) at the Flushing sea front , Zeeland, The Netherlands. I thought that it was a good idea to view this scene from the opposite side now. After I got permission of the miller, I've 'climb' (from its inside, lol) his traditional windmill, with this result.

Hope you'll like it. Thanks in advance for your comment.

PS: although not that interesting, I like you to show with an additional image of a part of its inside.

Edit: the wheel is for turning the windmill's 'head' into the proper wind direction.

Nothing like going inside a Windmill to start the day SEA. I love the view. Makes me think of a Hitchcock movie.

Quite an interesting view! It would be fascinating to see the inner workings of a mill like this! Maybe some day. Nice one.

I suppose the wheel is there to turn it manually for repairs etc. Quite interesting shot Cornelius.

A unique view Cornelius. Both captures are great and give us a different perspective on these mills.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is what's cool about having access to an entire area, being able to render images that interconnect from one end to another. [Hmmmm... that gives me an idea.] I remember seeing the other image you mention, going back now to see the connecting element, the line of 3 cannon. If shooting photos is a hobby for you SEA, I'l bet you were top 'o the heap in your career occupation. Keep 'em coming. -Nik
