From left to right 'some kind of maritime traffic' (except the buoy, unless it had lost its anchoring chain, lol.): a Dutch motor boat; a Dutch sail boat; a Western Scheldt ferry ('Prinses Maxima'); a three masted schooner ('Oosterschelde'); a Zeeland fishing boat ('Tempus Fugit'/ARM 33') cleaning its nets by streaming them through the Western Scheldt and; a Belgian sail boat.

All that maneuvering makes me nervous, LOL (!!!!) again.

Image is taken on the Western Scheldt, Zeeland, The Netherlands there where the North Sea begins.

An example for the nautical school to teach rule of the road Cornelius! Very nice capture with 6 different types and shapes of vessels and that buoy.

Looks like a traffic jam on water. I think I'd be a little nervous too. I like the variety of sailing vessels & the red buoy in the foreground gives the image depth. Very well captured, Mr. C.

You did a wonderful job of capturing all these different kinds of boats in one scene. I especially like the schooner! I wish I were on the ferry getting a view of the beautiful area where you live. Excellent shot, Mr. C.

Amazing to get all of these in one shot and you can identify them all as well - - the red buoy really serves to set the scene. Excellence as usual in your images Mr. C.

Mr C, you can't get more nautical than this. You've captured every kind of boat but a canoe! The 3-masted schooner is a vision by itself but to be surrounded by its fellow boats like this is awesome. Gorgeous find. Fav'd and Sav'd.

Wow, from small to large, older version to new, fun crafts, working ones, what a bonus with so many kinds, Bravo. This is a Fabulous shot of so many different kind of boats/ships, with excellent colours and composition. Now is that big Ferry or a Cruise ship in the background?

Ref.: Pat's comment above.

Thanks for your comment Pat.
The ship in the background is a fast Ferry. It's a SWATH-type vessel (Small waterplane-area twin hull).
The advantage of such a ship is that it's very stable and allows to sail even in a very high 'sea state' conditions making not that much movements, so being capable to sail the whole year through and not making passengers seasick in rough weather.

Regards, Cornelius.
