The play of light filtering in between the trees look beautiful on the brown ground covered with autumn leaves Cornelius. The combination of brown and green look very nice too.

Beautiful sunlight making it's way through the trees, hitting the forest floor. Excellent shot, Mr. C. If you run into Hansel and Gretel, give them a friendly 'hello' from me.
OK Cornelius, which way are we going, left or straight ahead. In full it looks like there is a big hill ahead of us. I can just image the wonderful smells of autumn and the rustle of the leafs beneath our feet. I'm ready lets go, oh I forgot to tell you this image is Fabulous with the colour tones an composition.
I realize it's all about leaves, living above and dead below, but this image has such an organic feel to it, probably because of that trench on the right. Would that be seasonal drainage or some other kind of feature? It almost looks like old overgrown fortifications from either of the World Wars.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I just love the rich lush forest with great shadow playing across the path. I could enjoy that scenery until the sun started to fall away. Good one Cornelius.
