The islands and peninsulas of the province of Zeeland, The Netherlands, are surrounded by sea or artificial lakes (former sea). One of them is the Lake of Veere, a 22 kilometers long artificial lagoon, situated between the peninsula's of North- and South-Beveland and Walcheren. This image of the Lake of Veere was captured yesterday (Sunday, October 5th 2014).
