Often it's difficult to achieve a good vantage point for a flat landscape scenery. Being inventive (lol), I used a leveled junction of this country road for this one. Depicted is what can be called 'progression'. Fine or not, it's reality (try to imagine a world without electricity).

This image was captured on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Both turbines and power poles...
all that's missing is nuclear!
you certainly did get a good vantage point for this.

An excellent photo and comparison, Cornelius.

The green bicycle lane seems to be in a dangerous location. (lol)

We will just have to get used to the wind turbines. Interesting also, is the colorful dividing line in the road. Beautifully captured scene, Mr. C.

That green centre line and the car are most conspicuous. Nice scene with the "progression" shown clearly Cornelius.

See that you drive on the "right" side of the rode like we do, SEA.
I bet a shot taken from the same spot during WWII would look so much different.
Once again your use of lines and composition is impeccable.

Great use of lines and curves Cornelius. I'm one of a rare group in that I really like both pylons and wind turbines. I think they can give a degree of scale and majesty to an otherwise plain vista.

Referring Tick's comment above:
"I bet a shot taken from the same spot during WWII would look so much different."

Hello Tick,
reading your comment, I must say that it's remarkable. Exactly on the same spot where I took this image, the battle of Walcheren Causeway took place in October and November 1944. The Causeway was situated between the former islands Walcheren and South-Beveland, but by gaining land from the sea after WWII, it's a part of the peninsula South-Beveland now.

It is very pleasing to the eye - even with all of its power structures and wind generators Mr. C. Very clean looking.

Marvelous shot with super depth, really like all the different things to look at and their detail. So does the green solid line in the road mean do not pass, like our solid yellow?
