This is my weekly Foofy Friday contribution. Depicted are Cosmos Bipinnatus flowers. Their common name is 'Mexican Aster'.

PS: My children (-in-law) and grandchildren have an autumn break and are visiting me this weekend. In practical terms this means that I will be on Caedes again on Monday.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Your foofies have a 3D look to them, like they are floating right out of the frame! That is so cool! Outstanding color and a beautiful composition. Excellent, Mr. C.....enjoy your family this weekend.

Lovely cosmos and this is the color I see most often Mr. C. - a deep magenta well captured by your lens.

Enjoy your weekend Opa. I know you will. Your grandchildren will enjoy it as well.
I think some of these flowers have snuck across our border because I see them a lot.
