I took this image last Sunday while making a combined bicycle ride / photo shoot on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. As you can see, the sun was shining clearly, there was no wind. The temperature was mild (about 15 degrees Celsius / 59 degrees Fahrenheit). No 'Winter Wonderland' here.

'Sorry' for that my friends.

While I do enjoy seeing snowy landscapes, I prefer the type of winter you are experiencing, Cornelius. This is beautiful scenery and I like how you included the tall grass in the foreground. The news this morning reported of an Arctic blast hitting the mid-western area of the U.S. Brrrr!

So far, that is what winter has looked like here in Delaware. After all the snow we had last year in Ohio, it is a welcome relief. Your winter scene is just as pleasing to me as the ones with a lot of snow. Beautifully composed shot, Mr. C.

This is the type of winter I love no snow lol.Stunning looking capture and love the blue of the sky reflecting in the water and the golden looking grasses both sides of the dyke or canal not sure but it as a lovely smooth look.Plus the detail is outstanding you can see the buildings in the far distance very clearly .Plus the colours and light are amazing too.

Stunning shot Mr. C.!!! The waterway is framed nicely on both sides and in the foreground as well - never would know that it is winter in Walcheren. Excellent shot!!!

We have record cold headed our way SEA. I don't believe I will be riding a bike or golfing.
You still have some green. Perhaps that is winter wheat.

That is a beautiful shot Mr. C. but of course it hardly looks like winter as we know it across the pond in Canada and the Midwest. It's about 3 degrees F. now and going down to -10F. tonight and 5" new snow on the ground which is blowing in clouds. The wind chill is hovering around -17F. and headed to
-35F. overnight. However we do have brilliant blue skies like this so it's a trade off - cold and sunny or drizzly and grey. I'll take your version of winter any day and this beauty goes on my DT tomorrow.
