Beautifully composed and presented, with the cobblestone lead-in and the tree branches framing the steeple. How quaint! Bravo Cornelius.

Lovely view with the tower and building bathed in sunlight Cornelius. The narrowness of the alley gives the image good depth. In Hamburg there are still a few cobblestoned roads - not for ladies with high heels :)

I love the way the sunlight is highlighting the steeple, Mr. C. You captured a lot of beautiful textures in this, with the wall and the cobblestone road/path. the vertical is perfect for this shot, also. Well done.

That looks like a ship at the very top, SEA.
The vertical presentation brings out the feeling of height and narrow road. Well done.

What a perfect spot and angle you chose for this beautiful image Mr. C. - the perspective is perfect for the viewer to feel the narrow street and the height of the tower.

This town is old! I've never been in such an old place.

The town hall is beautifully lit by the golden sun. And its bell tower is amazing with two rows of different sized bells! What wonderful detail. And there's a ship on the top as a weather vane! Looks like an old galleon, which is facing almost due west, I think, from the shadows, and if it's afternoon, and if the clock-master has the time right. (not sure) lol

The textures of stone and brickwork of the windows, doors and arch are very interesting in their detail. And the evergreens in baskets.

The town also looks well-kept with an old cobblestone road creating good depth of field. And the image is beautifully framed by trees.

This is a great capture of a town with a lot of seafaring history.

Cornelius - The vertical format works so well for this composition. Using the cobblestone road leads the eye up the hill to the focal point - the church. Thad
