So many words for 'resting up!.....ain't there!...Love the mood this throws out!...all those boats seem to be well looked after too....One way I would have loved to 'see' the world!....Alas...I don't think I would get that chance now!..
A wonderful perspective on a different (To me) life style!

Mr. C. You could be a photographer for a top name magazine. Every one of your uploads, is perfect in clarity, sharpness, color and of course that composition as well. This is superb, kudos my good friend. tigs =^..^=
I think if I ever come to Holland, I will buy a canoe and just paddle up and down the canals and take pictures. They are so picturesque. You have another cracker of a shot here, Mr. C. I love the boats, the row of buildings and cars....and the steeple at the end. Very nicely done!
It took a while to load but it was well worth the wait, SEA. You country is so well cared for and kept so clean. I always look forward to your photos. You never disappoint.
I can tell it's winter by no leaves on the trees but what beautiful sunny skies for winter. A wonderful shot again Mr. C. - it has a good vanishing point so it could be a contender in the contest too.
As Tick pointed out, it was slow to open but worthy of every second. Your images contain such detail and are always photographed with the skill of a seasoned photographer, and I am not referring to your age, Cornelius. This image is no exception. Beautiful work!
It will not belong now and they will be on the move again Mr C. Great looking capture with outstanding colours and I love the sunlight and shadows that play across the boats and the detail in this photo is amazing plus your depth of field too.Plus on my IPad it opened very quickly.
I wouldn't mind hibernating in that beautiful part of the world - your photography is just breathtaking - an aesthetic treat for the senses!!! Uitstekend!!!
