I've peeked through my 'maritime bin' and saw that this, in August 2013 taken, image never was uploaded. I upload it in order to prevent that the Kruzenshtern would disappear ingloriously (in a figurative way of course, lol).

Wonderful shot of this beautiful vessel in the company of other sailing vessels. This photo had no business to be in the bin Cornelius!

An exceptional image Cornelius - no business being in the bin !
I like the way the sailing ship towers above the others - gives a real sense of the scale of this magnificent vessel.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I am an avid admirer of these vessels!....I regularly read historic books about these 'wooden wall' sail ships!....

I think if I had to live my life again....I would love to have been among these!...hard as life would be, I would be in my element!...

A fine vessel and a fine shot of this!

It sure is a beautiful vessel, and so worth sharing with us. It reminds me of the ones you might sitting on a fireplace shelf.

There is so much going on in this maritime shot Mr. C. but above all is that beautiful three masted ship - gorgeous post and way too wonderful to be in any bin.

Glad that you pulled this one from the bin and "put it back in the water!" lol WOW - this ship and your image is breathtaking. Mr. C., this photograph is just so beautiful - I'm running out of adjectives. I love how you captured the ship with sails at half mast and the other vessels looking on in awe. Stunningly beautiful work!!! A save and a fave for me!!!

If I were to come back as a ship, this would be my choice SEA.
It appears there were more on the way to show us their grandeur.
A truly majestic scene.

So magnificent Cornelius. How did you overlook it. Well only because you have so many wonderful images that it would probably take a very long time to share them. This is a fine view of an old style sailing vessel.
