Image was taken on August 21st, 2014 on top of one of the sand dunes on the west coast of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

As you can see: the weather wasn't inviting for a swim, but for a photo shoot however, it was an excellent opportunity.

Cornelius - You can't swim with your camera anyway - so, it is much better to have captured this beautiful scene in your customarily superb manner.

This is one beautiful looking photography the colours are amazing and I love the silvery sunlight over the sea and the people walking along the beach and red boat add a lovely feel to this photo as well.Plus I do like your compstion of this photo and the light plus and depth of field is outstanding too.And not to forget the big sky with the clouds is superb as well.

By now you probably know how I feel about your beach scenes but with this sky so much drama has been added, and accentuated even more with your choice of vertical format...very impressive work, SEA.

The vertical format makes me think "Scotty is beaming me up," SEA.
We sadly lost Dr. Spock the other day. Perhaps Scotty, beamed him up.
Dramatic scene.

This image is extraordinary Mr. C.!!! It's perfect in every way. In addition to your fine work, I see in your shot that beautiful sky with rays of light casting glorious beams of light. What really caught my eye was the shadow effect from the cloud resembling a "C formation" and casting that shape onto the ocean - wow!!! Vertical is the perfect format - You outdid yourself - a definite save and a fave!!! Excellent - Spectacular work!!!

The skies are so dramatic Mr. C. that at first I didn't even notice the glimmering water, small boat and golden sands - altogether quite enchanting.

This is such a magnificent image. Powerful and stunning yet emotional... Or maybe I am becoming emotional:)
As to swimming this is a perfect day for a nice swim with sharks - the atmosphere is ominous enough to invite them to share a splash, isn't it?

The lighting is magnificent on this Mr. C. I love the way the left side is darkening with the storm and taking over the blue sky on the right. Very nice presentation.
