This image was taken near the medieval 'Zuidhavenpoort' (southern harbor gate; web info is only available in the Dutch language) in Zierikzee, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
When I read that link slowly and compare the words with similar words in German I can understand it Cornelius. Excellent capture of this beautiful view with beautiful colours and very good clarity.
The architecture in this gate looks as though it is a tiny castle. It is so beautiful (and the link gives one a view from the other side also). Very nice scene and photographed wonderfully Mr. C - thank You.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way.
WOW Mr. C. - I love this shot!!! There's so much to view - the composition and colors are splendid. The buildings and architecture are amazing and that sail boat is so colorful. Is that a drawbridge in the back. Your image looks like a pleasant little dockside village - just wonderful. I'll have a seat on one of the green benches!!!! Excellent as Always!!!!
You're right again (lol) There are even two draw bridges depicted in this image: one on the left side of the gate and one on the right side (almost hidden in the picture) of the gate.

You did a great job Cornelius. I am always amazed at the sharp focus of your images. This is another of the fine pieces to download to the Cornelius folder. Just wonderful.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
