This image was uploaded to prevent that it's put into the bin. It was already captured on January 19th, 2015 on top of a sand dune on the peninsula North-Beveland (Zeeland, The Netherlands) just close at sunset. At the bottom of the image the beach can be shown. Seems that the wind turbines have covered their feet with a blanket to protect them from the cold. In reality it's the mist rolling in from the North Sea.

Nice shot showing the low mist over the water and the partly covered wind turbines Cornelius.

Amazing capture old friend!...love those layers in the skyline!...Great use of the 'rule of thirds' too!..

The little bit of shrubbery in the lower right is just enough to compliment the whole picture!...........

Wow this is one beautiful piece of photo art work I love the silk look to the water and must say these wind turbines look great against the fog and clouds and blue background too.Plus the tree at the front adds a nice feel to this photo as well and the dark beach adds a very nice feel too.

This is a good one, but your gallery is full of excellent imagery. It kind of gives this one a desolate feel, love that mist cover.

Beautiful camera work, Cornelius. The wind turbines appear to be floating, thanks to the layer of fog.

I didn't think it was possible to make wind turbines look appealing, but you have done just that! Maybe I am just old fashioned, but I much prefer the older windmills of Holland to the new fangled turbines. We have them all over the place now too. Such is technology, I guess. Your image here is absolutely stunning, Mr. C.

WOW!!! A 10+ - Simply stunning Mr. C. The wind turbines look as though they are wrapped in a protective coating. The sky, the clouds and the water are amazing. This is a save and fave for me. Excellent!!!

A unique capture with the fog and turbines, Mr. C. Over here, it seems as though all our wind turbines are placed in rows facing the same direction - I like the placement of these, it makes it much more interesting to photograph.

Just stuck me how these turbines are in the same region of the world as the windmills.
