As you may know, I'm a retired seaman. Think you'll know as well that's 'not done' for an old 'sea salt' to have blushes on his cheeks because of the showed presence that I got by these handsome and charming ladies while visiting their yard.

On the one hand there was some proud, but on the other hand I must be honest by saying that there was some disappointment as well, as on this event no word was spoken and they were not applauding too. I'm still in doubts what has been the reason of the lack of personal attention where I was dealing with. Hope however that my slowly to silver turning hair was not the cause. I suppose that I have to become even more 'famous' (please notice the quotes, lol) than I already am, to make this 'audience' more enthusiastic. Will be a pretty hard job in succeeding this, isn't it?

I was just kidding in order to write an appropriate narrative for this Manic Monday entry.

The Weeping Angels are a race of predatory creatures from the long-running sci-fi series Doctor Who, resembling stone statues. They turn anyone looking at them into stone..I do hope you're not now a garden ornament...Interesting picture...R.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I would have at least stopped for a while an talked to some of them - at least till somebody called the doctor Cornelius. Nice collection of garden beauties.

I am afraid I would have turned redder than a clown's nose had I been among those ladies. I probably would have been stammering too, if I would have tried to speak. Excellent capture, Mr. C. Perfect for MM.

A funny post Mr. C. - perhaps not the picture but surely the amusing narrative. I too like the curve through all the "adoring" ladies!

I think the ladies are giving you the "cold shoulder" literally and figuratively Cornelius. Thoroughly enjoyed your comical narrative - great capture and post for Manic Monday!!!

Fascinating find! All different in pose and dress (or lack of! lol). They would look more at ease in a garden setting, I think!
