Yesterday I've posted this image of the 'Canal through Walcheren' near Middelburg (Zeeland, The Netherlands). On this image you see now this canal (with locks) in a bird's-eye view, but near the town of Veere however. At the left side of the image you can see as well that this canal terminates in the Lake of Veere.

In the flat landscape of Netherlands how did you get the bird's eye view Cornelius? It is a very nice view extending out to the horizon and showing details clearly. Well done my friend.

I love the bird's eye view, like Raj, I did not know you had high vantage points. Excellent crispness, and you nailed the composition.

Everything is so perfect here. The trees are lined up with perfection, as are the crop fields. Nice to see you invested in a drone to capture this view from above. lol. It will come in handy for your future airplane "Up In The Air" series.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I also see one of those large river cruise boats along the banks like I see in all the Viking cruise line commercials. What a great perspective in this one Mr. C. - brings more information to yesterdays image.

I really like the orderliness of your homeland...everything always seems in place, arranged and in rows...the trees, the windmills, etc. It gives a good feeling.

This is an amazing view and wonderful composition and details. You must have been in a plane?

Captured from aircraft of some kind. Agent's stuff. End of story as the rest is secret.:)
Just look at them - all so terribly curious - all of a sudden ... LOL
This is a nice way to reply to one comment made by an Englishman who said recently while referring to The Netherlands as the Low Countries! Just impudent I call it ! LOL
The Netherlands may be not too high above sea level but its people are the toughest and tallest on earth which they proved many a time in history.

Have nothing like this in Australia, its always cool to see how other people's landscapes look, especially landscapes that reflect history.
