About 7 years ago I've posted a rather similar image. As there was 'some' progression in the by me used editing possibilities (an improved version of the Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in - version 8.5.0.236), I think it's time for a renewed acquaintance of those deer with the (new) Caedes-friends (since then).

This image was captured at a forest edge on the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

A rare and superb shot Cornelius. Those two patiently posed for you hoping for a handout from the black box :) Nice colours and of course great composition.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Excellent timing Cornelius. The one in the back is like copied from the one in the front. They have the exact same stance :) Nice shot and a fav for me.

Perfect title and excellent capture. I'm wondering what the focal length is on your lens, if they allowed you to shoot close or from a distance. Where I live, the only deer photos I can get are of their rumps as the run away from me, no matter what the distance is. I had to travel to Glacier National Park to find deer that will stand still, 50 feet away, and ask the eternal question, "What f-stop are you using?"
