I love the menacing sky in this shot, Mr. C. The pilings and the foam from the waves look fantastic and the color of the water is superb. This reminds me of when I was a kid, when my parents used to take us to the beach. Excellent shot!
A very nice scene of the young people enjoying their sip in the sea Cornelius. That sky looks threatening. Fine details on the waves coming on the the beach.
A very nice beach scene, even if the storm clouds are approaching. I like the three primary lines made up of the wooden breakers, the distant shoreline and the cloud front. Fantastico, Cornelius.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
I'd be pulling my kids out of that water based on the sky but sometimes skies are threatening looking and nothing happens - excellent composition here Mr. C. and nice division into 3rds.
I love how the colours of the people stand right out then the dramatic looking sky above a lovely green sea .Plus outstanding compstion ,light and detail .I also like the white waves rolling in and the shadows running up the beach.Yes a beautiful looking capture Mr C !
That fabulous sky tells the whole story. The swimmers are demonstrating one of the main aspects of being young - they have, as per your title, no fear.

In the first comment Richie mentions their bravery. Thaaaaaaaat's not exactly the word I would have used. I find that kids don't seem to engage their brains as often as they should, mainly because they think they're invincible, that nothing bad will happen to them. Now that I've insulted their intelligence, are you going to tell me they're your kids? 8P Seriously, though, it's a great action/nature shot. I wonder what it would look like as a pano, simply cropping in 20 percent from both top and bottom. It might remove quite a bit of the top storm clouds but it would emphasize the length of the breakwater, the wave action, and how far out the kids are. Just a thought.

Boy I'd be out there too playing in the waves. Breath taking shot and love those colours and threatening sky. Really like the sand the way it's black and tan, love the patterns - right into my favs
