The German D-KHJS, a self-launching type ASK 21 MI sailplane with a retractable IAE R50-AA rotary engine with a fixed pitch propeller mounted behind the wing, high in the sky above Zeeland, The Netherlands.
I fully understand that my (technical) narrative of this post is 'abracadabra' to some of you. I had to realize this, so think I should have said: "A sailplane of the type ASK 21 MI can launch itself by a retractable engine/motor while other sailplanes have to be taken off (launched) by pulling a rope or cable. To reduce the weight of the engine/motor the designer has chosen for a fixed, not pitchable, propeller. For a better streamline of the plane (essential for a sailplane) the engine/motor, mounted behind the wings, is retractable into the fuselage. This German sailplane is registered as D-KHJS."

Wow, brilliant clarity and you can even see the outstanding detail of the pilot and plane, what a wonderful experience to go in a glider just floating with silence. Love it
