The vast majority of my country is as flat as a pancake, but seasonal a nice 'pancake', like here.
Depicted is a rapeseed field in a polder on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

A beautiful capture Cornelius - the land is awash in a spectacular shade of yellow - the green field, buildings and sky combine to make an image of perfection - Excellent!!!:-):-):-)!!! btw - what category polder - Land Reclaimed - Flood Plains - Marshes???

These fields always make for such a beautiful image Mr. C and even more so in your lovely countryside - I am, however, allergic to the oil produced from these plants so I enjoy in photos only.

Most of the polders in my country belong to the 'Land reclaimed' category as the gained land is separated from the sea by an embankment, called 'dike'. Therefore most of my country is below sea level.
