Some of the flat fields in my country aren't only covered with flowers in the spring, but in other seasons as well. This image was taken on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland,The Netherlands, at the end of the summer/early autumn.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Gorgeous array of colours in those fields, really like the wheat in the foreground. I'd love to know what the orange, yellow and red colours are. Maybe the yellow is grape, orange maybe it's orange wheat, the red had me stumped - I know they couldn't be tulips.

I'm guessing the yellow is rapeseed but the red also has me stumped as red wheat does not look that red, more russet in color. It's a beautiful scene Mr. C. no matter the season!

In the foreground wheat is to be seen indeed. Behind the wheat, one can see several varieties of chrysanthemums. They are not grown for their flowers, but for the seeds which are exported worldwide.
