This image was taken in the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This forest edge is adjacent to the coastal sand dunes leading to the North Sea.
You have gorgeous colors and sunshine in the wonderful Fall shot, Mr. C. I can see that they beauty of your country goes beyond the seashore and the sand dunes....and then stretches through fields and into the cities as you have portrayed in other images. Well done, as usual.
The autumn colors and the rays of sun combine to make this an outstanding capture, Mr. C. Even the trees that have lost their leaves are lovely to look at in my book.
The grass is still green here in Italy and begging me for one more cut before she falls asleep for the winter. Everything seems a little behind schedule, but we said that in springtime when the winter would not go away. Beautiful landscape, Cornelius.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
I would love to take a walk in the fall through this sylvan landscape. Just as some people think of Florida as just Mickey mouse and swamps, you forget there's more to a place than the stereotypical images you always see. As I have never been to the Netherlands, it's a little hard to picture anything but greet pastures and windmills. But I know there's much more, and I thank you for sharing it with us.
I really love the beauty of colorful autumn! This fall is to compensate for the cold gray winter... I have two favorite seasons - multicolored early autumn and late spring, white and of a sweet savor in May! Thank you for the incredible beauty!
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
