This is exquisite Mr. C. - such a beautiful soulful expression on the Madonna"s face and such rich depth to the colors - a wonderful holiday image.

Mary and Jesus look a little abstract to me, which would suggest that his work might reflect that style in a lot of his paintings. Beautiful capture, Mr. C.

I realise the painting is endemic of the style and region of where it was painted, but I have never seen the Christ child depicted such as this. He almost looks to be 12 years old. Very nice shot none the less.
