This local newspaper paper page proofs that this 'wintry' (lol) image is not taken in the spring but was taken now.

The extraordinary mild temperatures in my area have caused that on certain fields the daffodils have started blooming in December 2015 and still are blooming now.

A tad manic to me. That's a reason for me that I won't post this image as a 'Foofy Friday', but as a 'Manic Monday' entry.

We are in the midst of deepfreeze weather SEA, so this is a welcome sight. I just looked at an email from Skates showing a Glacier calving. Some strange things going on. Daffydilly if you will.
Thanks for sharing.

I too love the wind swept look. I'd call this an action photo. Outstanding clarity for all the winds present.

This is a wonderful photo, wherever you post, MM or FF. We continue to have mild temps (11c during the day and 7c during the night). Fortunately, the Alps offer plenty of snow for ski enthusiasts.

I could read and understand all in the newspaper except the word "pret" which I had to look up Cornelius. It is a clear case of global warming. Nice shot of the daffodils in January - one for manic Monday for sure.

We have had a waker than normal winter as well, with some early spring flowers trying to bloom. I'd much rather look at these pretty daffodils than snow piles! :-)
