Every year a 'Maritime Festival' is held in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands. I've collected some images for this series. This is #2. It shows the Russian frigate 'Shtandart' (homeport St. Petersburg) while moored in a dry-dock in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The 'Shtandart' was invited by the organization committee for a port call to 'decorate' the 2015 event.
The 'Shtandart' is a replica of the, in 1703 built, original 'Shtandart'. The replica made her maiden trip in 2000.

That drydock is a bit too big for the "Shtandart". Nice lighting and good clarity overall in spite of the dark background here Cornelius.

Mr. C. For me this really works well, you handled the lighting situation like a pro, and the dark background really sets off the sailing vessel. I also like the horizontal approach, so that I can see some of the surroundings. Bravo! tigs=^..^=

I too admire the lighting in this Mr. C. and the details for an evening shot are phenomenal.

The lighting is very good SEA. Did you use a tripod and a longer exposure?

Referring to OFT's comment above: I've used a so called 'gorilla pod' and have selected a relative long exposure time. Had to wait until there were no fast moving persons in this scene.
