Every year a 'Maritime Festival' is held in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands. It seems that everything that can floats, is present on this event, lol. I've collected some images for this series. This is #3, showing 5 'fishing boats of the past' in a row.

The giant crane makes the boats look so small. Another fine capture from the Maritime Festival with bright colours Cornelius.

Much color and action all around in this image Mr. C. - I like the contrast between modern day glass towers in background and the tried-but-true fishing trawlers in the foreground.

I do agree with Kathy, the contrasts of the buildings and trawlers is super my friend, and the image is so clear, and excellent color.

They appear willing and rearing to go SEA. The front on shot looks good. All ashore that's going ashore.

Anna's a fine name for a boat and reminds me of a girl I knew as a teenager and I see there's a possible Brit trawler there UK 107. I'm intrigued with the very tall scaffolding tower C, is it a very large electricity pylon or something else?

Referring to Phil's comment above:
The UK 107 isn't a British trawler. The designator stands for the Urk #107, a decommissioned Dutch trawler with the home port Urk. Urk is a fishing place/port in the Netherlands.
The by Phil mentioned tower hasn't provided with scaffolding. It's the modern tower of the town hall of Flushing town. Not my taste, but I wasn't the architect, lol.

Trizzie17 had the most insightful comment. So true. Beats our ugly shrimp boats.

It looks like an "All-Class Reunion", that includes the oldsters and youngsters in the same lineup. Likin' it enough to fav it, Mr. C.
