In the narrative of this previous image, I've promised you a detailed version of it as entry for Foofy Friday.

Perhaps you're wondering where this scene stands for. I'll try to give you the proper answer: this boat is an old one and no longer in use for commercial purposes. The inhabitants of the nearby village thought that it would be nice to use this old boat for decorating purposes and placed a kind of large 'bowls' on it filled with soil and flowers. The result was a wonderful and colorful sight enjoyed by many people.

PS: the yellow hose is for the sweet water supply in order to water these plants properly because the boat lies in slightly brackish water.

I think it was the perfect way to make use of the boat, and give the area something kind of unusual. Very nice imagery here Mr.C.

Where are the ice skaters, Cornelius? ;-) A beautiful idea carried out by the villagers, displayed so well by your photography talents!

What a terrific and clever idea these villagers had Mr. C. - we have someone near us who put the frame of an old iron bed in a side yard, filled it with soil, and planted a giant bed of impatiens - I admire it every time I drive by as I would this gorgeous floating garden. Making good use of items that might be discarded helps all of us.
