When one compares the size of the container ship 'Millau Bridge' versus the Dutch pilot vessel 'Lynx', think it's clear to you why I've chosen this title for this 'against the light' B&W image.

Image was taken, in pretty tough lighting conditions, on the Western Scheldt, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The 'Millau Brigde' had to disembark the pilot before starting her (ships are female) outward bound voyage.

It's an additional entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge.

Very impressive image in b/w Cornelius. The giant container ship against that unusually picturesque sky makes this an excellent entry for the b/w challenge.

What a monster ! My silly brain can never understand how these enormous vessels can float!
The sky is very impressive too.
Thank you for putting it in the BWC Cornelius :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The lighting somehow accentuated the containers in this Mr. C. - tough condition with an excellent result.

Whoa, he's gigantic, makes a fabulous B/W and really like the way the clouds glow and some have a silver lining.
