My title is actually superfluous as this late in the season taken beach scene speaks for itself.

Image was taken recently on one of the west coast beaches of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Yes Cornelius, when I see 9 deg. in the morning I too realize that the warmer days are over. The beach is no longer "crowded". Fine capture of the active sky and a good composition in this shot.

The colors are striking, makes a nice desktop screen. This Winter I'll use it a lot and dream.

The beach looks abandoned now. The sky is very dramatic against the water. I agree with Carol that this would make a great desktop in colder months. Nice one.

Definitely not a sunny summer scene but with it's own dramatic beauty Mr. C. - a fine seasonal capture.

Very dramatic sky moving in, really love the textures in the sand and water plus the super contrasting colours. I see some the people have long sleeve shirts/sweaters.

color of the beach, water to accent, and the amount of sly with all that 3D effect? most pleasing to the eye. i think one of the rules of thumb i read somewhere...was have no more the 20% of sky...i think you just proved them wrong! awesome pic!
