The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Can I just say - and this is not meant to be a lecture - can we lose the frame for this photo? There's enough in the photo for it to provide the frame itself. Remove the frame and crop the blue skies at the top of the image out completely. I suspect the weight of the remaining heavy sky will only enhance the sunset.
Referring to this comment comment of 'goggs': "Can I just say - and this is not meant to be a lecture - can we lose the frame for this photo? It sounds like an order 'goggs' instead of a constructive comment, and it's probably not meant this way, but I don't like however the compulsory way how it's said to me. I only accept doctor's orders. Therefore I simply like you to say that it's up to me how I present my images, whether it matches your personal taste or not.
I've decided not to crop this image anyhow, and the frame is well chosen as well. Seems that you don't like an added frame to an image (because you're the third time now 'complaining' to me about it), but it's my artistic freedom to do so. Whether you like it or not, you have to accept my choice. If not, than you have a problem, but try to live with it, my friend.

I like all the coppery deep golden tones Mr. C. - and I do like frames most of the time with my shots and feel the artist is always right as it is their vision.
