Tom (Tomeast) has taken in Bridgewater, Ma, USA this Field in October image (posted on December 22th, 2016). In my comment I've said this: "Tom, I have a rather similar one, but taken in the sand dunes along the coast in my area. Honesty obliges me to say that your one is finer than the one of mine. Maybe I will post it. If so, you can compare both ones, and will see that I spoke the truth, ☺ ."

Here it is now. It's depicted in the northern area of Zeeland, The Netherlands.

I invite not only Tom, but you as well to compare them in order to check whether I was right or wrong. Blame/shame on me, when you decide for the latter possibility, ☺ ☺ ☺ !!

It's my last post of this year. I like to use this opportunity to say thanks for all your wonderful images/creations, for your shown friendship, and for all the work that has been done by people backstage in 2016. Just great and highly appreciated. May 2017 be a wonderful, fruitful (from photographic/artistic perspective), and healthy year for everyone here on this site.

Mr. C. Thanks for posting this one so we could see the two of them, alot alike in the type of scene, but yet different, I like both equally, they are both perfectly captured with different cameras, and people behind them. I wish you the best in 2017! I value our friendship and hope it continues for many more years! tigs=^..^=

I already voted for this wonderful work. I prefer this one, there are more flowers and colors, and I love all that. Sorry Tom, I love your capture, too, you have more sky there, and I love skies. Was I diplomatic enough? LOL Happy New Year, good health and wonderful shots, Cornelius.

I too like them both - they are similar yet truly different reflecting the part of our world where the image was taken. I too wish you the best in 2017 Mr. C. - I value your comments and wisdom.

I see the similarity Cornelius but this one has a special beauty with the flowers and color. This composition is great and not easy do right , you did it perfectly. It does resemble Cape Cod but we do not have the colors that you have there. I am pleased that my photo inspired you to post this because its so good and should have been posted. Fav.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I did a side by side comparison once of a photo of the Nevada desert and a photo taken on Mars and aside from one being more red they were very similar. I agree, they are both nice.
