I love Spring, but it is a bit too early. Trees are budding and flowers are popping up. Now the freeze of March has arrived and I fear the cold weather will play havoc on our early Spring. Great colors in this picture, I bet it looks great to see in person.
What a marvelous display of crocus Cornelius. They contrast with the urbanity at the top of the photo. I like how thay are randomly planted with no formal design - just as nature intended
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Excellent variety of colors in this shot, Cornelius. I'm not sure if it's springtime here or not as I just pulled a winter tick from my collarbone area after trying to get rid of some weeds. Be as it may, I find it fascinating that the town districts take such pride in their open areas to have put in such a lovely garden. Looking at the foreground of the shot, I almost would expect to see grassy hills in the background. The contrast as noted in the title shows the pride taken by the citizens.
