The dunes look quite windswept - I imagine it would be a bracing walk along the tops. Great depth in this Cornelius - and beautifully composed, as always :)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This is one of those rare photos where not all of the vegetation is completely green. You have some real depth in this shot with the foreground grasses. The tiny hikers show just how large of an area is encompassed in the shot.
I'm wondering why there are pilings perpendicular to the beach. We have nothing like that around here. Perhaps there were too many drag races on the beach. You are my travel agent for the day, Cornelius.
Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.
I must say you sure have a gorgeous scenes and breath taking photo opts. Really like all the different textures and depth - love the grasses in the foreground.
