Our friend Connie (Constance52347) said in her comment to THIS ONE: "The lighting is really wonderful with the shadows of the branches on the path. This is a great photo! (Could you please post it in color, as well, some time?)"

My reply was: "Connie, of course I can't say 'no' at your request, ☺ . Because I've a lot of other images waiting for their turn to be posted, please have some patience my friend."

You can see now, that I've kept my promise. Please realize that the colors may be not that spectacular, because it's a, so called, 'against the light' image (can be seen by the direction of the shadows), the reason that it was posted initially as an entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge (BWC).

PS: because I got similar requests for some other of my B&W images, think that I'll post them in the future as colored versions too. Have patience, please however, ☺ .

Beautiful in both versions :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The other one was very beautiful but I like the colour version more.

It's a hard call for me to pick which I prefer. You handled the difficult lighting so well in this one Mr. C. tigs=^..^=

Bit more drama than the colour!

I kept trying to imagine what it would look like in color, and now I don't have to imagine any more. This is really lovely. Thanks for taking the time to post it

This has fine color works so well but the B&W carried the mood for me.

Me? I like the black and white better but only a little better. Both are excellent shots, but the B&W seems to show better detail and is more dramatic.

A great capture in both modes. Very nice rework.

Whoa, really love this coloured version and the lighting and shadows are fabulous with the beautiful flowers leading us up to the building at the end
