Depicted is a, for the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands, typical barn with a adjacent farm house with red/white shutter boards, probably built more than two centuries ago (think that it was built about 1790). On the wooden 'walls' of the barn attributes of a long time ago are attached.

These old place always have plenty of roof space...possibly for drying hay etc in the 'old days'...
