These charming ladies, wearing Zeeland traditional clothes, were posing that willingly for me.

This image was taken on July 13th, 2017 at the yearly folklore event, in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Lovely ladies, C. and great outfits, but I'd hate to see them try to deal with a windy day on my prairies. Those "wings" on their headgear would either collapse or blow them into Minnesota.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I see that I did comment on this one when you submitted it but now I look closer and wonder about the possible purpose for those brass-colored squares, emanating from the temples of their headgear... horse blinders? Headlight reflectors? Radio antenna? Wind stabilizers? These women are actually Egyptian and not really Dutch? Portable acoustic tiles for projecting their singing voices? Hmmmm?

Thanks for your additional comment that made me smile, 'Nik'.
The 'brass-colored squares' are made of pure gold however, my friend, ☺ .
