It appears this colony of mushrooms has its own suburbs too. Mr. C. are these eatable? They look delicious.

Looks like nature's artwork Cornelius - beautiful clusters of mushrooms and shapes - they look good enough to eat or are they - Great Capture!!!!!!!!

I have noticed these 'mini' bunches of fungi in a lot of places this year!...They do look enticing to pick and eat eh!...

A well-filled frame of forest beauty, C. They look like they may be Scaly Pholiota or possibly a Lilac Cort, neither of which are edible (particularly the Cort). Do you recall if the trees nearby were either hardwoods or conifers? That always helps with identification.
