Maritime traffic off the coast of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands, coming from and going to the port of Antwerp, Belgium, assisted by pilots, transferred to the seagoing vessels by pilot tenders.
...and Goldilocks found that the Papa Ship was way too big (she got lost five times on her way to the bridge and gave up), and the Baby (Pilot) Boat was too small ("Where's the bathroom, anyway? What? Over the side? You gotta be kidding!"), but the Mama ship was juuuust right (Wait a minute... it only looks smaller 'cuz it's father away. To heck with the cruise... I'm staying on the dike.").
All fun aside, it's an excellent capture of life off your coast, Mr. C., except when I pull a copy for my screen I'm going to take some artistic license and make a pano of it. Dank u.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Really like this with 3 different size ships from smaller to huge. The really big cargo freighter sure has brilliant colours containers aboard and stacked so high. Excellent composition and lighting - love it
It's amazing to me the sheer size of these cargo ships these days - I can't imagine captaining these in rough seas. Excellent capture of the busy sea around you Mr. C.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
