As you can see in the distance, it was a hazy day. The just peeking through sun has created a strange lighting effect on the sand dunes of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
The weather wasn't a limitation for the para gliders however.
This image was taken on November 9th, 2017.

Too bad shoreline didn't win the contest choice SEA. Another good one that could be in you "People In The Air," series. You need to go para gliding with your camera.

The haze helps to clarify and emphasize the hang gliders and those terrific grasses in the foreground. I'm guessing the waves here come in at an angle, pushed by prevailing winds out of the northwest? And that those lines of posts from the beach out into the surf is to break up the waves and reduce sand erosion, acting as breakwaters.

How nice it would be to spend your time just soaring around the skies with a care eh!...just like these dedicated people!...
I don't think there is a parachute big enough to get me off the ground though!...lol
