I've found this contemporary art sculpture on a public square in the town of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
It's one of a group of 6 colorful sculptures, called 'Bathing Statues'. The sculptures are made in 2004 by the sculptor David Bade (Cura�ao) from all kinds of waste and building materials. Small fountains have been installed in the pavement from which water can be sprayed, hence the name of this group of sculptures.
To me it has caused a smile on my face, and I couldn't avoid to give this friendly, probably from jaundice suffering, guy the positively meant advice to make an appointment with his dentist or orthodontist. No response however, ☺ .

I am probably way out in left field, but it somewhat reminds me of the Chinese character for power (li). Especially, if you would have taken the picture from the other side so that the long shaft would have been to the left.

Reading the comment of John above, I like to say that I've tried different angles, but my goal/intention was to to provide you with a Manic Monday capture. The grin on the face of this 'character' was essential for that, and would have been missed by using a different angle, while other disturbing factors would have been visible as well.

This made my teeth hurt just by looking at it SEA. If I looked at it too long I would probably need a therapist as well.
