This is a picture of another piece of the avionic history: the PH-YAK - Yakovlev Yak-52 airplane, captured by me in August 2017 in the air near Zeeland Airport, The Netherlands.
Although since the 70's of the past century, the fighter jets became more important rather than prop driven (piston) engine airplanes, the initial training given to pilots was still given mostly by 'piston engine' airplanes. In the former Soviet Union was this the Yak-52. This impressive aircraft is ideal for aerobatics, and the roaring engine sound of its 360HP engine can only be described as spectacular. After the fall of the Soviet Union it was exported to the west and is owned now by a Dutch flying group

The picture is another marvel from the person who snapped it too! :)
